Sea kayak Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay
Staying aboard a luxury junk we explore Halong Bay and its less visited neighbour, Bai Tu Long Bay, by sea kayak. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the area features more than 1600 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Its waters are host to a diversity of ecosystems including offshore coral reefs, small freshwater lakes, and sandy beaches. Travelling aboard a private junk and by sea kayak allows us to explore areas far from the tourist path.
Trekking and cycling in Sapa
We travel by train to Sapa, deep in Vietnam's northern highlands. It is a mountainous area of stunning natural beauty and home to diverse, colourful ethnic minorities. Trekking is the ideal way to experience the culture and village life of this unique area. We cycle over Tram Ton Pass (1940m), the highest mountain pass in Indochina, taking in the breathtaking scenery and dramatic climate changes. Each night we retire to the luxury comforts of our lodge and enjoy a delicious dinner.
Cycle the temples of Angkor
Stretching over 400 square kilometres, Cambodia's temples of Angkor comprise one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. It contains the exquisite temples and remains of the different capitals of the ancient Khmer empire, from the 9th to the 15th centuries. Cycling is the perfect way to explore the area and provides for an unforgettable experience of the famous Angkor Wat, Bayon, Banteay Srei, and Ta Prohm temples. At the end of each day we return to our deluxe boutique hotel and discover local Khmer cuisine.
